LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre to create a LEGO® Dan Andrews replica

Melbourne – Thursday 1 April 2021: Is everyone right to go? LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre has today announced plans to create a life-size LEGO replica of Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews!
Following Dan Andrews’ year of COVID press conferences, tough decisions and strong leadership, the ultimate indoor LEGO play centre’s Master Model Builder, Kieran Jiwa, is keen to pay homage to his fellow Victorian using thousands of LEGO bricks.
“I’ll keep this brief. Essentially the plan is to design, create and build a LEGO reproduction of the Premier to display in our Miniland Melbourne exhibit as a way to extend our thanks and our gratitude for his tireless work over the last year. The project will be a massive task for our team but we’re all in this together and plan to unveil the model within three months,” said Kieran.
LEGOLAND Discovery Centre hopes the vast majority of Victorians will agree that the Premier deserves a LEGO replica.
Located at Chadstone Shopping Centre, LEGOLAND Discovery Centre is an indoor LEGO playground that features Miniland Melbourne, two rides, multiple build and play zones, soft play zones, a 4D cinema, and a LEGO retail store. The attraction is designed specifically for families with children aged 3-10. Adults must be accompanied by a child (except when visiting the retail store or attending Adult Night events). The attraction is open seven days a week during the school holidays.
