LEGOLAND Discovery Centre Master Model Builder David Holder

[October 12, 2020, HONG KONG] LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre Hong Kong announced today that it is seeking Hong Kong’s biggestLEGO®fan to filla full-time position as Master Model Builder at its30,000-square-foot attraction opening early 2021 at K11 Musea. Interested applicants areencouraged to apply online at from now through Thursday, October 29th, 2020. Applicants must be 18 years or older.

This is a great opportunity for any LEGO®lover–a chance to get paid to bring LEGO®to life through maintaining existing models and creating new models, as well as delivering fun, inspirational and creative model builder workshops to the model builders of the future!The Master Model Builder will also participate in building events, corporate events and PR related activities which will require them to serve as a spokesperson for the attraction.

“Now is the opportunity for local LEGO® lovers to showcase their skills for a chance to become a Master Model Builder at Hong Kong’s first LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre,” said Ben Sweet, New Openings Director -Asia Pacific, Merlin Entertainments. “The ideal Master Model Builder is someone with a zest for creativity and artistry and who shares a passion for the LEGO® brand. We can’t wait to see what brilliant creations they come up with!”

The Master Model Builder will be selected at Brick Factor, a one-day building competition that will beheld on Saturday, 21st November 2020. During the Brick Factor competition, contestants will display their skills by taking part in creative challenges and building original LEGO® brick models in timed rounds of judged competition. After two rounds of competitions, the top five contestants will enter into the final round of competition where the Master Model Builder will be selected by the judging panel including Mr.Ben Sweet, representatives of LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre and LEGO®Hong Kong, as well as Mr Andy Hung, the 13th LEGO® Certified Professional (LCP)and the first LCP in Greater China.
