Things to do in Manchester

Manchester is one of the top 10 best value cities for a UK break

As one of the Top 10 best value cities for a UK break, Manchester is not short of things to do!

From sports to museums, parks to theatre trips, Manchester is a hub of excitement for couples, tourists and families to enjoy.

Here are some great things we like to do in Manchester.

SEA LIFE Manchester

Make the most of the chance to get up close and personal with the underwater world at SEA LIFE Manchester.

With more than 5,000 creatures in 30 incredible displays, spend an afternoon with the family making new friends with those who live underneath the sea! With plenty of things to do with the kids, including a soft play area and 180 degree Underwater Ocean Tunnel, SEA LIFE Aquarium will fast become a family favourite attraction for Manchester locals and visitors alike. With the newly opened Jurassic Ranger exhibition, take part in a all new interactive journey back in time!

Combine your visit to LEGOLAND Discovery Centre Manchester with SEA LIFE Manchester and save! You can visit all attractions within 90 days.

Shopping

3 days would still not be enough to see all the shops available in Manchester.

Vintage Fashion markets, high end fashion stores to window shop, high street favourites and large department stores.

Even better still many shops are all housed under one roof with entertainment and food options available, just in case you need a break.

The Trafford Centre and the Arndale Centre are two of the best shopping arcades the city has to offer. If you're looking for a bargain, the Lowry Outlet Mall has something for everyone!

Football

Manchester and Football go together like kids and LEGO® bricks, it’s unavoidable.

With both Manchester United and Manchester City experiences available, it’s tough to avoid those daydreams of scoring the winning goal in a cup final.

If you don’t support either of the Manchester teams, the city is still the place to experience the beautiful game with a trip to the National Football Museum.

Theatre for the whole family

With shows coming in from the West End to the heart of City, Manchester is a vibrant hub for all things cultural.

See award winning family friendly musicals and shows at the Salford Lowry, just a stone's throw away from our attraction!

Or if you fancy something around the festive season, the Opera house hosts their yearly Christmas Panto which is a hoot for ages young and old!

Brockholes

We've our biggest and best ever schedule of events planned here at Brockholes, which are guaranteed to keep all the family entertained this coming summer holidays!

There are over six weeks of fun-filled, nature based events and activities planned, ranging from 'Stick Man' and 'Gruffalo' themed fun, to outdoor theatre productions and a brand new Mini-beast Safari!
