Planning a visit

Adults must be accompanied by children to enter LEGOLAND Discovery Centre. Most of the attraction is designed for little ones. We appreciate that adults love LEGO too and host exclusive adult nights for our Adult Fans of LEGO without children. Check the events page for any happening soon. An adult is classed as aged 18 and over. Children are classed as aged 17 and under. Children under the age of 3 are free but require a booking.

*Effective from 13 February 2024 onwards, children under 2 will enjoy free entry. This replaces previous policies.

All children must be accompanied by an adult and supervised at all times.

To ensure our guests have the best experience possible, we limit the number of visitors that can be in the Centre at one time. The best way of ensuring your family's entry is by reserving your tickets online (while receiving special online discounts)! Once you leave the Centre, you will need to repurchase tickets to be readmitted.

We encourage families to interact together and explore their imagination and creativity through a world of open play, and therefore visits are not guided.

We have a small café area in the attraction offering a limited range of snacks, confectionary, and hot and cold drinks; however, we do not have space available to allow the consumption of food brought in from the outside. Please bear this in mind when booking your tickets and planning your day – particularly if you are coming as part of a group.

We try to stock as many different variety of food items that can suit everyone, unfortunately we won't be able to cater for everyone. For those who have any sensitive allergies or intolerances, you are more than welcome to bring in your own food. Apologies for any inconvenience caused.

LEGOLAND Discovery Centre encourages guests to enjoy deliciously fresh foods and snacks, as well as Costa Coffee beverages and ice cold fizzy pop in our Coffee Shop.

The centre has been designed with your needs in mind. We review our risk assessments and policies annually to ensure we remain as accessible as possible to all guests, including wheelchair access.

Please note that for all of our rides, guests must be able to transfer to the ride vehicle with or without carer assistance. All of our rides also require guests to be able to sit upright unaided in order to ride.

Please note ALL adults must be accompanied by a child (aged 17 and under) to visit the attraction (with the exception of Adult Nights).
We do not provide wheelchairs or strollers at our attraction, however, guests are able to rent these from the Trafford Centre shopmobility area.

We do not provide wheelchairs or pushchairs at our attraction, however, guests are able to rent these from the Trafford Centre shopmobility area.

Tickets

To ensure our guests have the best experience possible, we have limited the number of visitors that can be in the Centre at one time. All guests are required to buy tickets online and make a reservation for an entry time.

Advanced Purchase - Best Value and Guaranteed Entry

  • Upon your arrival to the Centre, you will enter the "I Have Tickets" line at the start of your reservation.
  • Please note during peak periods such as holidays, half terms and Summer holidays there may be a small wait upon entering the reservation line.

Walk-Up Purchase

  • If you purchase tickets at the door, you will be required to reserve the next available time slot. You will enter the 'I Have Tickets' line at the start of your reserved entry time. The only way to guarantee your entry is to reserve your tickets online.
  • Please note, during peak times, we may sell out of walk-up tickets. The only way to guarantee your entry is to purchase your tickets on advance online.

Once inside, stay as long as you like.

Please note, it will get extremely busy during Half Term so pre-booking online is the only way to guarantee entry.

When booking your ticket you will be asked to select a date and time for your arrival. This helps us make your experience more enjoyable by reducing queue times, speeding up your entry in to the attraction and reducing crowding.

PLEASE NOTE: We want everyone to have the best time so we may limit the time guests spend in attraction during our busy periods. This means during this event you may be issued with a time limited wristband.

Reserved tickets are any tickets purchased on our website or at the Centre.

Unreserved tickets are tickets purchased or received from our third party partners.  Guests that are a half hour late or more for their reservation are required to use this line as well. Unreserved tickets enter the Centre as soon as possible when there are open reservations.

To ensure our guests have the best experience possible, we limit the number of visitors that can be in the Centre at one time. There are 15 minute windows between reservation times to control capacity in the attraction. This creates a better experience for all our guests!

During peak times, you may experience a short wait in the "I Have Tickets" line as guests enter the Centre. The first experience in the Centre is a live show that takes approximately 6 minutes. Guests may need to wait in line until the next show beings during their reservation time.

Guests that are a half hour late or more for their reservation will enter the "I Have Tickets" line, but may experience a longer than usual wait time.

It is easy to revalidate your ticket to visit on a later date. You can change your ticket date via our booking portal, details of which you can find on your e-ticket. Our booking guarantee allows you to move your ticket up to three times, with the flexibility to move bookings no later than 24 hours before your arrival time.
