The attraction is suitable for all children however, it is primarily suited for 3-10 year old's. Adults must be accompanied by children to enter LEGOLAND Discovery Centre (except at our adult-only evening events). An adult is classed as aged 18 and over. Children are classed as aged 17 and under. Children under the age of 3 do not need to buy a ticket.
*Effective from 13 February 2024 onwards, children under 2 will enjoy free entry. This replaces previous policies.
We encourage families to interact together and explore their imagination and creativity through a world of open play, and therefore visits are not guided. The typical visit takes 2-3 hours.
The attraction will have a cafe with a range of food and drinks available. We try to stock as many different variety of food items that can suit everyone, unfortunately we won't be able to cater for everyone. For those who have any sensitive allergies or intolerances, you are more than welcome to bring in your own food. Apologies for any inconvenience caused.
The centre has been designed with your needs in mind. We review our risk assessments and policies annually to ensure we remain as accessible as possible to all guests, including wheelchair access.
Please note that for all of our rides, guests must be able to transfer to the ride vehicle with or without carer assistance. All of our rides also require guests to be able to sit upright unaided in order to ride.
Please note ALL adults must be accompanied by a child (aged 17 and under) to visit the attraction (with the exception of Adult Nights).
We do not provide wheelchairs or strollers at our attraction.
Yes. We ensure that there are always staff members at the LEGOLAND Discovery Centre who are trained in first aid.
We are stroller friendly, with family bathrooms with diaper changing facilities.

Ticket Queries
Whilst legal restrictions have been lifted, we want to ensure we can offer you the best possible guest experience and we will continue to have reduced capacity at our attraction. This means that you will need to book into a time slot ahead of your visit. As spaces are limited, we strongly suggest you reserve tickets early for your preferred date and time. Please do not visit without a ticket and book your tickets online to guarantee entry.

Tickets for Carers
There is no disabled rate but if a member of your party is registered disabled you will be entitled to admit one free carer with them. Please ensure that you bring documentation with you on the day such as your blue badge, DLA Letter or note from a doctor or specialist.

Effective 28th February, the LEGO Group acquired LEGOLAND® Discovery Centers and LEGO® Discovery Centers from the Merlin Entertainment Group. As a result, LEGO® Discovery Centre Birmingam is no longer associated with the Merlin Entertainment Group and is not affiliated with any Merlin Entertainment venues, including SEA LIFE, and other related locations.
Gift Ticket FAQs
Yes, you can still use any LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre Birmingham gift voucher that was issued before 28th February, 2026. These vouchers are accepted at any (Merlin Entertainment Group site), provided the voucher is still valid according to its terms. However, please note that gift vouchers from (Merlin Entertainment sites) issued on or after 28th February, 2026 cannot be redeemed at the LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre Birmingham.
Merlin's Magic Wand Foundation tickets issued prior to February 28, 2026, will be accepted at LEGOLAND Discovery Center, and LEGO Discovery Center sites under the terms and conditions that applied at the time of issuance, along with the terms and conditions of the specific LEGOLAND Discovery Center or LEGO Discovery Center site where the ticket will be used.
Multi-attraction Tickets FAQs
If your combo ticket was purchased before 28th February, 2026 and remains valid, it will be accepted for entrance to LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre Birmingham. Admission is subject to the general terms and conditions associated with both the ticket and LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre Birmingham.
Multi-attraction seasonal tickets purchased before 28th February, 2026 and still valid are accepted for entrance to LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre Birmingham. Usage of these tickets is governed by the terms and conditions that applied at the time of purchase, as well as the general terms and conditions of LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre Birmingham.
